Today marks the 28th year of my life. So far, there have been many people to make it a special. A girl can always count on her parents, old friends, and even newer friends to make the day unique.
This year, instead of making a long list of arbitrary goals, I have just one: continue to be patient. Good things are coming my way. Bad things too, maybe. But I’m prepared for both of them this time. I’m ready to let life guide me, instead of trying so hard to be in control.
