About

Hello. I’m Rose.

Bind & Create is the story of my life as told through the binding agents in my life.

My journey has been stitched together through a wide range of interests. Like any meal or art project, I am the product of many parts working together. In leaving behind my past, I’ve thrown away an old way of thinking: I don’t have to be just one thing. I have the opportunity to be many things.

On these blog pages, you’ll see stories about my personal development through health and wellness, crafting, and my relationship with others. In 2012, I set up a series of challenges for myself that I didn’t quite accomplish. In 2013, my goal is to just live as mindfully as possible, folding my interests into each day.

My word for 2013 is Fortitude - fighting through adversity with courage. While I’ve typically been okay at  bouncing back, I haven’t always done so gracefully. That’s my aim for the next 12 months.

My word for 2012 was Patience - and quite a bit was learned in that area over the year.

On these pages you’ll find stories about handcrafted art, delicious food and my adventures in a new town. Welcome to my journey. I hope you stay for the ride.
